ASML Service and Test Engineer in Vancouver, Washington

Introduction EO technical solutions (EOT) is a parts repair organization based in Vancouver Washington. EOT was acquired by ASML in 2023. EOT is a small organization (currently 25 FTE) focused on the PAS platform. Its repair portfolio consists of more than 200 different parts. Besides parts repair, it also provides customer training and customer field support. Since EOT is a standalone business, it has all business functions in house. It also has its own cleanroom where systems are used for part testing and training. Its mission is to generate value for ASML by scaling its repair volume and support the overall ASML repair ecosystem by developing repair procedures for other repair centers. For this its scope will broaden beyond the PAS platform and also work on (N)XT parts. The PAS Service and Test Engineer job is broad and versatile. It is based on deep understanding of the PAS system in all its facets. EOT owns 4 PAS systems as foundation for all its activities. These systems are used for testing all parts repaired and for providing training. Together with the other team members, the service and test engineer is responsible to keep these systems in good shape, facilitate the testing of the parts, support external customers (both remote and on-site) and repair mechatronic parts. The job includes working together with various levels of professionals both within EOT as the rest of ASML, such as D&E, Sourcing, Logistics & Marketing. Roles and responsibilities Maintain the EOT Steppers and Scanners used for testing parts and for training Participate in refurbishment of PAS systems. Support customers on part replacements either remotely or occasionally on-site Support training classes when there are questions on Best Known Methods when troubleshooting or during a repair Train internal engineers and technicians as they build up competence Test and qualify parts after rebuild, provide feedback on the repairs, and validate performance and specifications Expand tool testing parameters as needed. Rebuild Mechatronic parts to as-new condition Be able to work in a team environment and also independently. Occasionally perform installations and de-installation of ASML 5500 equipment either in-house or at a customer Education and experience Bachelors degree in a technical field. Minimum 5 years work experience in a Field Service Engineer or similar role with a minimum of 3 years experience on the PAS or XT platform. Minimum 3 years experience in specialized knowledge in the area of pneumatics, hydraulics or electronics, and semiconductor processes, and relevant software.
