HP Inc. WW Marketing - Privacy Risk Analyst in Vancouver, Washington
HP Inc. Global Marketing has an open position for a Privacy Risk Analyst role to ensure the successful development and maintenance of privacy policies and procedures, motivate program compliance across global marketing, support and guide the marketing community in privacy needs and monitor and respond to the evolving privacy landscape. This individual is expected to be a key participant and influencer in the development of a Data Privacy Risk function within marketing and across HP in collaboration with other Pan-HP Global Business Units.
This role will be expected to collaborate with key groups within marketing including Data Science, Martech, and Global Market Campaign teams. Across HP, collaboration will include Global Privacy and multiple Global Business Units, e.g., Print, Personal Systems, etc. The candidate must be an excellent communicator and influencer, be able to interact with a wide range of groups and leaders and persuade through thoughtful analysis with an ability to translate business and technical requirements into robust capabilities and outcomes.
Responsibilities
Help develop and manage a privacy resource center within Global Marketing
Collaborate with stakeholders across all business sectors to ensure data protection and privacy compliance and oversight of periodic information privacy risk assessments/analysis, mitigation and remediation efforts
Strong foundation of the modern data lifecycle
Provide support to marketing organization on privacy and data security topics in order to enable effective campaign activation and data usage
Help instill and maintain a cultural focus on continuous improvement regarding privacy and data protection, including: a) refining and communicating policies and guidance on the privacy implications of HP activities, programs, and initiatives b) managing privacy-related inquiries in the organization
Monitor, track, and report on overall privacy and data protection program progress; streamline and improve processes as needed
Identify, track, mitigate, and resolve privacy risk issues
Skills and Knowledge
previous experience in Enterprise Data Privacy environment
Foundational knowledge of key privacy regulations: GDPR, CCPA plus awareness of the related landscape
Strong risk management orientation, ability to effectively steer the organization toward compliance while driving mission and business impact, including Privacy Impact Assessments leveraging tools such as Onetrust, TrustArc, etc
Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills
Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving to achieve goals
Experience in corporate privacy programs preferred
Ability to think creatively to solve problems and have a forward-leaning attitude on addressing complex matters
Willingness to be agile and adaptable with evolving landscape
Excellent Communication and Presentation skills and the ability to influence in cross-functional team settings
Ability to digest, analyze, synthesize and problem solve various use cases across the data privacy & governance spectrum
Ability to interact with key stakeholders in a variety of scenarios with the right balance of assertiveness, humility & confidence
Keen understanding of the data lifecycle across CRM's, data lakes and other data repositories for a wide variety of use cases
Strong understanding of data risk at it relates to privacy and governance
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in social marketing, content marketing and media, data led planning, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $104,800 to $158,250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
