Compensation:

Salary Range Min: $ 109,876 – Max: $ 155,953 / Grade B/775

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for overseeing in-house multi-million-dollar Capital and Operating construction projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for all administrative and operational support aspects for the Facilities Project Management, FCC teams. The incumbent will track and monitor personnel and non-personnel budget and expenses. Responsible for the planning and tracking of various initiatives, developing and rolling out new KPIs, and drive best practices across the team. The candidate will develop strategies and implement programs to improve Capital construction procedures to increase productivity & reduce expenditures while maintaining high quality and ensuring customers a safe, reliable, and efficient transportation system. Oversee compliance with quality control and job safety standards and utilize architectural expertise to design and resolve issues.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related Field. Ten (10) years of satisfactory full-time paid experience, five (5) of which must have been in a supervisory/managerial capacity.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in project estimating, construction scheduling, construction processes and methodologies.

  • Common practice to run a team through construction from inception pre demo documentation to commissioning and closet out packages.

  • Understanding of construction financials and keeping a project under budget and on schedule.

  • Preferred knowledge of NYCT facilities but not required.

  • Architect or PE license in the state of NY.

  • Strong MS Excel and project skills.

  • Preferred experience includes finance and accounting skills, knowledge of facility maintenance/MOW.

  • Knowledge of NYCT rules and regulations.

  • Experience in performance reporting and asset management.

    Selection Method:

    Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.

    All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
