Robert Half Human Resources Manager in Ventura, California

Description We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Ventura, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. Your daily tasks will include overseeing recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and coordinating payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of human resources practices and processes, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.

• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions using software tools like ADP and Paylocity.

• Maintain and manage systems like Bamboo HR for talent management and HR duties, ensuring employees' data are up-to-date and confidential.

• Implement and maintain HR policies and systems in compliance with the law.

• Resolve issues and answer payroll and HR-related queries.

• Conduct performance appraisals and handle disciplinary and grievance matters.

• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies and procedures across the organization.

• Lead and supervise HR staff members, fostering a teamwork environment.

• Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Oversee the hiring processes, including developing job descriptions, posting job ads, and managing the interview process. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of three years of experience in a human resources management role

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required

• Experience with Ceridian and HCM software is essential

• Demonstrated ability to manage benefit functions

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written

• Must have a strong understanding of compliance regulations related to human resources

• Proven experience in managing employee relations effectively

• Must be familiar with hiring processes and recruitment strategies
