Job Title: Welder and Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Vermillion, SD

Job Type: Full-Time with 4 day work weeks

Job Description: We are seeking both assemblers as well as welders for this position. Having skillsets or experience in either industry is not required however it would create more opportunities. If you have welding and or hand and power tool experience, I encourage you to APPLY!

Responsibilities:

· Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).

· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

· Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications.

· Inspect and test welded joints and assemblies to ensure quality standards.

· Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and tools.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or mechanical assembly preferred.

· Proven experience as a welder and/or mechanical assembly technician.

· Proficiency in welding techniques and equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

· Strong attention to detail and quality control.

· Good physical condition and stamina.

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
