What you can look forward to as a Field Service Technician

  • Performs repairs and replaces ZF transmissions and axles on customer vehicles in the bus bay or at customer’s site

  • Remanufactures ZF transmissions and axles in the Commercial Vehicle Shop

  • Works on D.O.T. safetysensitiveproduct

  • Communicates with customers in the field

  • May perform product training to customers or team members

Your Profile as a Field Service Technician

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • 3-5+ years of commercial vehicle and/or heavy equipment experience; heavy industrial mechanic or bus transmission mechanic experience is ideal

  • Heavy mechanical background and travel experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.

  • Must be able to acquire a CDL and High Voltage Certification

  • Must have Valid Driver’s License

The expected base compensation for this role is $57,400.00 to $71,700.00 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
