Job Description

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team. As a leading global supplier of test and simulation systems, we offer an opportunity to learn and grow in the aerospace, automotive, and biomedical industries. In this role, you will build, repair, diagnose, and test products, with a focus on mechanical assembly and some electrical testing on actuators. You will have the opportunity to train in other departments and work in a well-equipped environment with all tools provided.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of hydro-mechanical subsystems.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and schematics.

  • Understanding of the parts of a hydraulic actuator (Cylinder, Piston, Spring, Hydraulic supply, Stem, Hydraulic seal, Return line).

  • Basic principles of fluid mechanics and their application to hydraulic engineering.

We offer flexible shift times to accommodate your personal needs, allowing you to start working anytime from 4-7am for the 1st shift. You can accrue up to 3 weeks of PTO in your first year, plus 40 hours of sick time, 8 paid holidays, and an additional 24 hours of floating holidays, totaling over 5 weeks of vacation in your first year. Our benefits are outstanding, with out-of-pocket medical expenses capped at $4900 for the most expensive plan. Additionally, we offer a $4000 sign-on bonus, with $2K paid after 90 days and the remaining $2K at one year.

Work Environment

You will work in a very clean, well-lit, and organized production environment. The workspace is quiet, and you will have your own workstation with all necessary tools provided by the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00
