Adecco is seeking a dedicated Storeroom Attendant to manage daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and inventory cycle counts at a customer site. The ideal candidate will ensure the storeroom operates efficiently, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and provides excellent service to site employees. Location: On-site at client facility

Pay Rate: $14/hour

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming products, tools, or equipment; verify accuracy against invoices and inspect for damage.

• Sort, label, and store materials in an organized manner, optimizing storage space.

• Issue tools, products, or equipment to employees while maintaining accurate records of transactions.

• Enter and retrieve inventory data using a database system; address discrepancies and escalate issues as necessary.

• Request requisitions to replenish inventory and assist with maintaining optimal stock levels.

• Perform cycle counts, report inventory results, and investigate misplaced items.

• Inspect and report damage or wear on tools and equipment; perform minor repairs or maintenance as required.

• Deliver tools and equipment to designated work locations and ensure timely service.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to company safety standards.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ months of warehouse or storeroom experience preferred; forklift or cherry picker experience is a plus.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

• Skills & Aptitude:

• Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and procedures.

• Basic computer proficiency or aptitude to learn (e.g., MS Office, inventory software).

• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Must wear protective equipment as required (e.g., gloves, safety eyewear).

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs or greater with assistance and handle physical inventory.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, climb, and balance.

• Extended work hours, including overtime, may be required with little to no advanced notice.

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
