Adecco US, Inc. Storeroom Attendant in Vidalia, Georgia
Adecco is seeking a dedicated Storeroom Attendant to manage daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and inventory cycle counts at a customer site. The ideal candidate will ensure the storeroom operates efficiently, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and provides excellent service to site employees. Location: On-site at client facility
Pay Rate: $14/hour
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming products, tools, or equipment; verify accuracy against invoices and inspect for damage.
Sort, label, and store materials in an organized manner, optimizing storage space.
Issue tools, products, or equipment to employees while maintaining accurate records of transactions.
Enter and retrieve inventory data using a database system; address discrepancies and escalate issues as necessary.
Request requisitions to replenish inventory and assist with maintaining optimal stock levels.
Perform cycle counts, report inventory results, and investigate misplaced items.
Inspect and report damage or wear on tools and equipment; perform minor repairs or maintenance as required.
Deliver tools and equipment to designated work locations and ensure timely service.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to company safety standards.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ months of warehouse or storeroom experience preferred; forklift or cherry picker experience is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Skills & Aptitude:
Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and procedures.
Basic computer proficiency or aptitude to learn (e.g., MS Office, inventory software).
Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Must wear protective equipment as required (e.g., gloves, safety eyewear).
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs or greater with assistance and handle physical inventory.
Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, climb, and balance.
Extended work hours, including overtime, may be required with little to no advanced notice.

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
