Responsibilities
Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, gears, and conveyors.
Experience with wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and electrical system repairs (ranging from low to high voltage).
Proficiency in conducting regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure the longevity of machinery.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and fix mechanical or electrical issues.
Ability to perform welding tasks for repair and maintenance.
Basic knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Attention to Detail: Precision in repairs and documentation to avoid recurrent issues.
Communication: Clear communication with team members and supervisors to relay issues, status updates, and solutions.
Time Management: Efficiently prioritizing and managing tasks to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Teamwork: Collaborating effectively within a maintenance team or across departments.
Adaptability: Ability to respond quickly to unexpected machinery issues or changing priorities.
Hand and Power Tools: Competence in using standard maintenance tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, and drills.
Diagnostic Equipment: Familiarity with tools like multimeters, thermal cameras, and vibration analysis tools.
Lifts and Forklifts: If applicable, the ability to operate forklifts or other lifting equipment (certifications are often required).
