Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for equipment management tasks within the hospital to keep equipment flowing efficiently throughout the hospital. The Technician should be committed to continual improvement of the quality, reliability, and value of our products, as well as the efficiencies of our services. They will be expected to maintain a professional relationship with all hospital staff and other personnel and act as subject-matter experts of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to standby locations in patient-ready condition with appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.

• Confidently communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.

• Provide a quality service, perform to quality standards, and meet both customer and company metrics.

• Pick up, clean, and process all equipment, preparing it for patient-ready use following all company and hospital protocols.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of professional janitorial/custodial experience

• Comfortable working in a hospital environment

• Basic computer skills - must be able to answer service calls and document tasks digitally

• Ability to work on your feet all day

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hospital EVS or janitorial experience

• Equipment delivery and/or cleaning experience

Work Environment

The shifts available are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vineland, New Jersey.
