PeopleReady Sales Representative in Vineland, New Jersey

We're searching for someone who thrives on winning new business to join our team as a Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of prior sales experience and excel in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Representative will identify potential customer leads, cold call, gain appointments, and execute a sales funnel process through to close. Job Location: Vineland, NJ

Responsibilities:

  • Represent PeopleReady in assigned territory, accounts, or verticals to satisfy all customer staffing needs

  • Engage with local branch teams to ensure that our customers' orders are filled with the talent they need

  • Assist local Branch Managers with penetration and retention selling for existing customers

  • Close orders and ensure proper documentation is complete

  • Ensure sales growth through aggressive market strategies and account development. Hit sales targets in both revenue and profitability

  • Ensure all channels of communication are leveraged to drive seamless results and to build strong relationships – both internally and externally

  • Embrace the Counselor Sales Process (CSP) as a selling methodology

  • Perform additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years related sales experience; Bachelor's, associate degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Managed a sales portfolio of at least $2.5M per annum

  • Sales experience in one or more blue-collar vertical markets

  • Functional knowledge of Federal and State Human Resources regulations

  • Strong communication skills and the gift of persuasion

  • Proficient in using MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Bilingual language skills a plus

  • Valid driver's license

  • Possess additional qualifications as needed

Salary Range:

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $50,000 and $65,000 per year, plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.

Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training and other considerations permitted by law. We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable law.

Physical and Work Requirements:

Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. Extensive local travel required within the territory. Valid driver's license and good safety record required for driving to locations. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
