Responsibilities and Impact:

The Product Manager for S&P Global Market Intelligence Issuer Solutions Group will work as part of an Agile Team.

The Product Manager for S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Investor Relations program will work within a team of peers who are collectively responsible for the full product lifecycle. You will contribute to Roadmap creation, research new ideas & innovations, collaborate with UX to define and design functionality, partner with engineering to develop and our commercial teams to deliver value to our community of Investor Relations Professionals. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand clients’ digital workflow needs and transform them into delightful user experiences.

You will deliver value to our users through applications that are currently supporting thousands of the largest publicly traded organizations in the world. This is done by guiding our scrum teams to build and manage custom software applications, customer relationship management tools, and data and analytics solutions. This is an exciting time to join our product team; we are working on launching multiple new products in our Issuer Digital Solutions Portfolio and pushing ourselves to work in more effective and creative ways.

  • Create, optimize, and continuously improve processes within remit; accountability for managing effective operational systems and/or processes and be responsible for deployment of resource.

  • Collaborate with our team of Product Managers to build a solution roadmap aligned to strategic direction, providing input for strategic plan development to meet business requirements.

  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment to the solution roadmap, managing, influencing, and negotiating with sometimes conflicting stakeholders, addressing escalated issues or problems, and incorporating stakeholder interest into decision making and operations.

  • Facilitate discussion of options and scenario planning related to the solution roadmap.

  • Monitor progress of work against product plan and roadmap.

  • Investigate existing business processes, analyze, and define underlying business drivers; define and evaluate requirements and the scope for recommended solutions and programs.

  • Test relevant solutions or programs and the impact of solutions and/or programs against identified business requirements to propose adjustments.

  • Review and formalize impact evaluation of solutions against requirements.

  • Conduct product research and discovery, leveraging data and market insights to advise on appropriate solutions to complex customer problems or emerging customer trends.

  • Support the development of strategies and plans for new products and customers.

  • Act as the voice of the user.

  • Collaborate closely with UX, product owners and engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of the roadmap in an Agile framework.

  • Partner with our Growth team to assess new digital business opportunities and determine product impact and viability.

  • Ensure successful launch of a new product by enabling our commercial teams.

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,872 to $145,540.5. 0Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We Look For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Curiosity & openness.

  • At least 5 years of digital workflow solutions product development experience or 3 years of relevant Investor Relations consulting experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working with senior internal stakeholders, external clients and/or subject matter experts.

  • Experience or exposure to working with Data Science teams or deployment of large language models is desirable.

  • Ability to identify gaps or program risks and act on creative problem solving.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence in cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to break down technical issues into easily digestible data points for stakeholder consumption.

  • Experience of working on data logic or data analysis projects.

  • Demonstrated technical and financial aptitude.

  • Strong technical writing & visualization skills.

  • Strong execution and product delivery skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
