AON Property Asset Valuation - Risk Consultant in Virtual, Texas

Aon is looking for an Asset Valuation for Commercial Property

We are seeking a high performing Valuation Consultant to complement our Professional Services team. The successful candidate would be located anywhere in United States in close proximity to a major airport and will report to the Managing Director.

They would be working alongside our asset valuation team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections and preparing Appraisal Reports (value estimates) and Insurance Appraisals (cost estimates), on a wide variety of buildings and machinery and equipment in locations across North America and on occasion globally. You will review and sign off on reports, ensuring assignments align with industry standards. The role requires 30-40% regional and national travel and occasional international travel.

Ideal Credentials

  • College degree / Post secondary education.

  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing and oral instructions). Additional language proficiency is a plus.

  • Hold an American Society of Appraisal (ASA) designation or working towards an ASA designation.

  • Experience in collecting, analyzing and applying valuation data / costing models.

  • Experience in appraising industrial facilities and equipment.

  • Experience with valuation models, particularly in industrial processes is a plus.

  • Understanding building, machinery or equipment design, and ability to read blueprints.

  • Project management experience.

  • A combination of education, designation(s) and experience will be considered.

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $130,000 to $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
