Description

The Department of Pediatric Dentistry, School of Dentistry at Texas A&M University, invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position with an 11-month academic appointment beginning fall semester 2024. Candidates will be considered for titles of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor. Responsibilities for this position will primarily include clinical and didactic teaching at both the predoctoral and graduate levels, in addition to service at the dental school and children’s hospitals. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching, clinical research and service. Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications of the selected applicant.

Qualifications

Candidates must have the following:

  • Hold a DDS, DMD or BDS degree

  • Completed an ADA accredited postgraduate training program in pediatric dentistry

  • Clinical and didactic teaching experience

  • Board certified or board eligible

  • Eligible for licensure in Texas.

All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
