Position Summary The Accounting Operations Specialist will be responsible for cash posting, cash deposits, cash balancing, A/R invoicing and collections for Benefit Help Solutions, Inc. for lines of business PERS, COBRA, Retiree and FSA. T his is a hybrid position based in Portland, Oregon. Pay Range$19.05- $23.81 hourly (depending on experience)Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of accounting experience preferred.
Personal computer knowledge including Excel spreadsheets and word processing.
10-key proficiency of 160 kspm on a computer numeric keypad/calculator and a typing proficiency of 40 wpm
Strong understanding of balancing concepts.
Strong analytical, problem solving, reconciliation, organizational, and detail orientation skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, work with frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities.
Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
Ability to come into work, on time and daily.
Primary Functions:
Prepares and processes daily bank deposit for incoming checks for BenefitHelp Solutions, PERS and subsidiary entities Dental Commerce Corporation and Dentists Management Company.
Balances the cash postings to cash deposits.
Prepares and completes admin invoices for various subsidiary companies. Prepare and complete miscellaneous invoices for all Moda entities.
Assists with AR billing collections when needed.
Monthly Carrier Report payment requests and reconciliation.
Maintains Accounting Operations department filing system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions & Contact with Others
Office environment with extensive close PC and keyboard work, constant sitting, and phone work. Must be able to navigate multiple screens. Work in excess of standard work week in order to meet business needs.
Internally with all departments and subsidiary companies. Externally with various groups and banks.
