Assembler D Location: North Charleston, SC Duration: 6 months Description: 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English. Performs advanced, specialized or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies and subassemblies using automated assembly operations. May provide assembly operation guidance to other assemblers. Physical demands (if any): Carrying/Lifting up to 10-35 pounds Project/Skills What are the Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role/job? Aircraft maintenance Systems repair Functional test/operational test Systems Installations IFE - In Flight Entertainment maintenance and test 15-20 years of experience Aircraft maintenance Flight readiness A&P License (A&P is more of a hard preference rather than a requirement. Someone who has worked in the Aviation Industry could potentially not have their A&P but still be a good fit.) Experience with exterior panels, paint, sealant, ti-foil Experience with composite repair Knowledge of aircraft systems (power, hydraulics, IFE (in-flight entertainment), troubleshooting Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.).
