Business Development Manager

Remote / Candidate must reside in Utah

We are seeking an energetic, performance-oriented Healthcare SaaS Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare technology, extensive knowledge of SaaS products and services, and a proven history of driving revenue growth and forging strategic partnerships. This role demands excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion for our SaaS products.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare industry, including healthcare providers, payers, payviders, and third parties such as telehealth.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and industry experts to promote our solutions and establish partnerships.

  • Lead the sales team in identifying and qualifying deals with prospects.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns, content, and initiatives to generate leads and boost brand awareness in the healthcare market.

  • Stay updated on healthcare industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and challenges for our products.

  • Analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform product development and strategic decision-making.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends in the healthcare sector.

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business growth objectives and ROI analysis.

  • Collaborate with assigned Sales Representatives, Marketing, and Business Development leaders to synergize sales efforts and support each other in identifying new business opportunities and clients.

  • Manage and administer the CRM system (e.g., Hubspot) to ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and pipeline management.

  • Implement and maintain sales automation tools, workflows, and integrations to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the healthcare or healthcare IT industry.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare SaaS products, solutions, and industry trends.

  • Strong network and relationships within the healthcare ecosystem, including healthcare providers, payers, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying opportunities and developing actionable plans.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated environment focusing on compliance, data security, and patient privacy.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales automation tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
