Role Responsibilities:
Provides therapeutic counseling services to identified program clients; Effectively supervises program therapists that provide trauma-informed and strengths-based individual, family, couple, or group counseling services to program clients, and stabilization and consultation services to the family members and others involved with the client
Ensures staff maintains up-to-date and accurate client files and databases, as required; Facilitates the file review process, ensures corrections on files are made and provides recommendations for continuous quality improvement
Effectively engages individuals, youth, and families experiencing behavioral health issues and psychosocial stressors in the therapeutic process; Reviews mental health assessments as appropriate utilizing a systems framework and trauma-informed approach among other modalities; Demonstrates a high level of competence and expertise in providing clinical services, employing a variety of clinical activities/approaches to meet the client's needs; Monitors short and long-term case management/counseling services
Responsible for the clinical supervision, coaching, training and development, discipline, and evaluation of staff/intern performance; Ensures all team members meet productivity expectations

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:
Preferred: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field

Certification/Licensure:
Preferred: Clinical licensure required
