BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Community Health Driver to join our outstanding and compassionate team. Come join our Community Health team in this Part Time position where you will be responsible for driving the mobile bus for community events.

This position requires AHCA Level 2 background clearance and requires travel within home base county but also to our sister counties with your own reliable transportation.

The Community Health Driver responsibilities include:

• Responsible for driving any of the Community Health fleet which includes the RVs, vans and cars in a safe manner

• Assist with transporting department equipment, performs general repair of that equipment

• Keeps proficient records in relations to logs and record keeping of vehicles

• Schedules services including vehicle cleaning and maintenance as well as medical equipment inspection

• Follows BayCare and department safety, routing and communication policies

• Has basic knowledge of mobile unit mechanics along with minor vehicle maintenance and repair

• Requires excellent communication skills as well as having an acceptable driving record according to Policy BC-RSK- 121 'Vehicle Safety Program'

Certifications and Licensures:

• Required State of Florida Driver's License

• Preferred CDL State of Florida Class B

Education:

• Required High School or Equivalent

• Preferred Trade/Technical - Auto Mechanics

Experience:

• Required 3 to 5 years driving 35ft and larger vehicles
