Data Analyst-Business Continuity Location: Philadelphia, PA/ Whitehouse Station, NJ/ Hybrid Duration: 5 months Description: Client team is implementing a new software to build and maintain the companys business continuity plans. In advance of the roll out of the system, the team is moving data from various sources (mostly legacy Excel documents) into a consolidated format for upload and use in the new software. The individual in this role would be expected to move data from various sources, taking direction from the client team on how to look up and move data accurately so that it is best positioned for the software. Job Responsibilities: - Read requests and process what is requested - Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered - Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors - Maintain logs of activities and completed work Skills: - Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently to provide quality service within a high volume environment. - Ability to accurately document and record required information - Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word (working with standardized templates, may be creating responses as needed that do not provide templates), Excel -will be working on support projects that will require the movement of data including working in the client Intranet, The Village and entering onto Excel). Manager would prefer candidate with Intermediate Excel Skill sets which include Vlook-up and Pivot Tables and Outlook-will be expected to respond to emails as needed. Education/Experience: - High school diploma or GED required. - 1-2 years business related experience required.
