Direct Placement Title or Role: Data Analyst Compensation: Annual Salary of $40,000 plus benefits Location: San Juan, PR (90% Remote) Company Description: Our client is a prominent Managed Behavioral Health Organization (MBHO) in Puerto Rico. With a strong presence and over 19 years of experience, they specialize in delivering recovery-oriented services for individuals with mental, behavioral health, and/or addiction disorders. Position Description: The Data Analyst will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive operational efficiency, inform strategic decisions, and improve overall performance within our client in Puerto Rico. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments to extract valuable insights from data, develop actionable recommendations, and support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities:

• Create ad hoc and regular reports for both internal and external clients utilizing reporting tools and techniques, pulling together internal and external data.

• Data analysis, updating and maintaining the Reporting Master Database, need to exercise sound judgment while analyzing and interpreting data to ensure a High Level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for Business Leaders.

• Supports cross platform reporting and integration of multiple data sources into single SQL data queries to meet the needs of internal and external clients.

• Prepares document report requirements and specifications job documents and SQL changes.

• Performs quality assurance and essential data audits to ensure accuracy of reports.

• Maintains knowledge and full understanding of the company's SQL database elements.

• Develops and administers training and knowledge learning in corporate platforms such as: Crystal Reports, Crystal Enterprise, etc.

  Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL programming and SQL Server 2017

• Knowledge and experience in developing databases, analyzing data and preparing analytical reports.

• Knowledge and experience in data manipulation and transfer between systems .

• Knowledge of DTS/SSIS required or similar ETL tools

• Personal computer experience should include working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook at the intermediate level at a minimum.

• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to problem solve.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas.

• Problem solving skills with the ability to look for root causes and implement, workable solutions.

  Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related area; or equivalent work experience with minimum 3+ years of experience in similar position, in a health or clinical environment or a combination of education and experience required..
