Description

TheEmail Marketing Specialistdevelops and executes email marketing strategy to meet customer objectives in an engaging and creative way. This role will manage the end-to-end email marketing process, including strategy, content creation, segmentation, automation, and analytics. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker who understands email marketing best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and send email marketing campaigns, including emails to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and relevant email content, including copy and calls-to-action.

  • Develop email segmentation strategies to deliver personalized content to specific customer segments, optimizing open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

  • Implement and manage email marketing automation workflows to improve efficiency and engagement throughout the customer journey.

  • Conduct A/B tests on email campaigns to optimize subject lines, content, design, and send times for improved performance.

  • Monitor email marketing metrics, analyze campaign performance, and generate reports to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

  • Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align email marketing efforts with broader marketing and business goals.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in email marketing, proposing new ideas and strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in communications.

  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or Campaign studio.

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Effective written, communication, presentation, and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

  • Ability to set priorities and work in a group environment or independently.

  • Detail-oriented; strong time-management skills; and an ability to problem solve.

  • Solid presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle quick turnaround times and a demonstrated ability to take initiative

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing communication campaigns in a government environment.
