CAE USA INC Glass Technician in United States

Role and Responsibilities

The role we are offering you:

As a glass technician for the MAD (magnetic anomaly detection product) production department, you will be responsible for the production of bulbs and magnetic resonance cells.

Your challenges:

  • Blow, shape, separate or assemble glass components to very precise dimensions

  • Inspect parts on a microscopic scale to identify microcracks, scratches and check glass wall thickness

  • Operate a vacuum and pumping system to control the pressures of different gases

  • Act as a reference point for engineering (technical support and analysis of recurring issues arising from repairs)

  • Contribute to ensuring the maintenance of quality certifications (ISO 9001 at AS9100) for the department

    Our ideal candidate has:

  • DEC in laboratory technique, glass blowing or any other relevant combination

  • 3 years of professional experience

  • Chemical and thermodynamic knowledge

  • Has good technical analysis

  • Know how to work meticulously

  • Highly organized, good time management skills

  • Good verbal and written communication in French and English.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborate

  • Mastery of the Office Suite, particularly Excel,
