This role is responsible for the development of AI powered web applications that deliver proprietary generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage with stakeholders at a high level, translating business needs into strategic AI architectures, and managing the design, development, and integration of scalable AI systems. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and innovation, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that address real-world challenges.

Making an Impact

Lead Development of AI-Powered Web Interfaces:

• Guide the creation of modern web applications powered by AI technologies that are responsive, scalable, and maintainable. Ensure seamless integration with AI systems to achieve optimal user experience.

• Ensure that web applications meet high standards of performance, scalability, and usability, while delivering cutting-edge AI functionality.

• Provide direction and support to the development team, overseeing the entire development process from concept to deployment, and ensuring the highest quality of deliverables.

Conduct Discovery Sessions:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate these insights into actionable technical requirements for AI application development.

• Document and communicate findings clearly, ensuring alignment between user needs, business goals, and development efforts to inform and guide the creation of effective AI solutions.

• Engage with end-users to gather insights on their interactions with existing AI solutions, identifying their needs and pain points.

Provide Technical Leadership:

• Guide the delivery of trials and proofs-of-concept for new AI technologies and solutions, ensuring they are thoroughly tested and evaluated for feasibility and effectiveness.

• Mentor and support development team in adopting best practices for AI development, including modern web development standards and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes, providing strategic direction and expertise to navigate complex challenges and drive the successful implementation of AI solutions.

Collaborate Across Teams:

• Work closely with application engineers, product managers, and data scientists to design and implement AI user facing solutions that address complex problems and align with business objectives.

• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and effective teamwork, ensuring that all team members contribute to the success of the projects.

Drive Architectural Discussions:

• Lead discussions on system architecture and engineering practices to design robust, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.

• Facilitate evaluations of architectural trade-offs and decisions, ensuring all options are considered and communicated clearly to stakeholders and team members for informed decision-making.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating new advancements into architectural frameworks to continuously enhance and evolve the solutions.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing web-based solutions, with a successful track record in similar technical roles.

• Hands-on experience with modern web application development, including proficiency in front-end technologies and frameworks.

• Proven experience in developing web applications that integrate AI technologies, with a solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and tools.

• Experienced in driving architectural discussions and making strategic technical decisions.

• Skilled in analyzing user needs and business requirements to design and implement effective solutions, with excellent communication skills to conduct discovery sessions and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Proven ability to guide and mentor technical teams, oversee complex project deliveries, and manage projects effectively.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions.

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying AI solutions.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

• Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles to ensure effective and intuitive AI-powered applications.

• Experience in data science, machine learning, and/or generative AI research is a plus.

• Ability to network across functions and brand leadership
