What You Will Do
Job Summary:
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Sales Leader to join our newly formed Sales Excellence Network as the Global Sales Academy Lead, reporting directly to the Global Learning and Capability Director. You will play a leading role in the global design, implementation and embedding of all Sales skills, knowledge, and behavioral development (Sales Academy) across all Markets, to create locally relevant, globally excellent standards that forms our ‘Imperial Way of Sales Excellence’.
We have collaborated across all three Regions to create a new, global Sales Excellence Network to leverage best practices and global collaboration in a structured and intentional way.
As a Sales subject matter expert this is a great opportunity for you to use your knowledge and experience to inspire and coach our Sales specialists in effective Sales development strategies and practices to optimize the delivery of a performance-based culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the creation/sourcing, implementation, embedding and measurement of all global Sales development strategies and solutions.
Manage the creation of and delivery of an integrated Sales Development Plan, leveraging multiple delivery methods (including virtual, online and social learning) to ensure learning is effective across the regions.
Coach and influence senior business leaders and P&C Business Partners to address critical talent and role needs and create diverse succession, to build a sustainable future talent pipeline.
Champion the design and delivery of Sales skills assessment processes and tools to identify core skills strengths and skill gaps to address.
Work collaboratively with the Global People & Culture COEs to utilize best practice in onboarding, skills development, talent development and sales incentive management.
Implement and effectively utilize appropriate SLAs / KPIs / measures to track and evaluate effectiveness of all Sales development initiatives.
Lead the strategic sourcing/design and delivery of effective Sales development solutions working collaboratively with Sales Excellence and the wider Sales & P&C Communities.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualifications :
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field of study
5+ years related work experience
Proven experience in Sales, particularly or a closely related area
Experience in creating and implementing comprehensive L&D programs
Must be 21 years of age or older
Knowledge of:
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
Strong knowledge of sales processes and training methodologies
Knowledge of a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
Skilled in:
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
Attention to detail
Problem/situation analysis
Effective time and task management
Multitasking capabilities
Flexibility and adaptability
Ability to:
Plan, organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects

Travel up to 20% of the time internationally or domestically
Work Environment and Physical Demand
Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves moderate to heavy weight objects (10-50 lbs.).
Walks, sits or stands for prolonged periods.
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
