About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HashiVault Engineer to join our team in supporting an enterprise client with a complex and dynamic infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in secrets management, security, and infrastructure integration, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Secrets Management: Implement and manage secrets securely using HashiCorp Vault, including setting up policies, access controls, and secret engines.

• Security: Ensure the security of sensitive data by implementing encryption, key management, and secure access protocols.

• Infrastructure Integration: Integrate Vault with various infrastructure components such as Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Automation: Automate the deployment, configuration, and management of Vault using tools like Terraform and Ansible.

• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the health and performance of Vault instances, perform regular maintenance, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery setups.

• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure that Vault is effectively integrated and utilized across the organization.

• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for Vault-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure smooth operation of the secrets management system.

• Experience: Proven experience with HashiCorp Vault in an enterprise environment.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of secrets management, encryption, key management, and secure access protocols.

• Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle complex and chaotic environments.

• Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work under pressure.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Security Focus: Experience with security best practices and compliance standards.

• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
