About the Position

Goodwin Home Health is currently seeking a Part-Time LPN. We offer work-life balance, along with outstanding pay and benefits. You will work with our dynamic and passionate team at Goodwin Home Health. This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and safe delivery of skilled Home Health nursing services. Through collaboration with our dynamic team, you will assist in providing ordered care for a variety of conditions. Goodwin Home Health provides skilled care to seniors in their homes throughout Northern Virginia, focusing on the counties of: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudoun.

Duties

  • Participates in the implementation of patient’s plan of care.

  • Participates in patient care conferences according to Goodwin Home Health care policies and procedures as appropriate.

  • Documents in patient’s electronic medical record in a timely manner, per Goodwin Home Health polices and standards.

  • Identifies patient needs and communicates them to the case manager (RN) in a timely manner.

  • Implements and documents procedures and treatments accurately.

  • Attends mandatory meetings, seminars or any other requested departmental meetings as well as maintain 100% compliance with data mandatory training.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

  • Legally and currently licensed by the state board of nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

  • At least one-year acute care experience, Home Health preferred.

  • Current CPR card certification.

  • Possess a Driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance and readily available, reliable transportation.
