On With Life Housekeeping & Laundry Tech in United States

NEW LOCATION: Join Our Growing Team in Polk City!

This full-time position primarily works 8 hours per day Monday-Friday, approximately 40 total hours per week. We some some flexibility with shift start and end times, between 7-8a start and 3:30-4p end. There are no evening or night requirements, but the position requires hours on every other weekend (working less weekday hours that week), and the department rotates holidays amongst the team. There are potentially additional hours available at our other locations or to cover time off for other team members.

This Housekeeping & Laundry Tech position starts at $16/hour with increases for previous experience. We do annual raises based on budget capacity, and you also have the opportunity for a discretionary bonus at each annual anniversary.

This position is eligible for a 401k match, PTO and long-term sick pay, and other benefits depending on total hours worked, such as subsidized health, dental and vision insurance. The rehabilitation process from a brain injury or other neurological condition is a 24/7 job for each person served, and Housekeeping & Laundry Techs and the rest of our Facilities team ensure a clean and safe environment for them along the way.

What do Housekeeping & Laundry Techs do?

The Housekeeping & Laundry Tech provides a full range of services to ensure a clean and safe environment for our persons served to heal and rehabilitate in, including:

  • cleaning, disinfecting, and trash removal in activity areas, common areas and offices

  • sweeping, mopping and dusting as needed

Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old.
