JEVS Human Services HR Coordinator in United States

The HR Coordinator will support the daily functions of the HR department.

This role is hybrid, 3 days onsite required weekly.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordinating onboarding process for new hires, review policies, and ensure all necessary new hire paperwork and pre-employment testing is completed.

  • Assist scheduling employees for required training and coordinating work assignments

  • Maintain employee data using multiple HRIS data systems and ensure data integrity.

  • Ensure all HR records and files are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Supports as needed with various HR programs, such FMLA, Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment Compensation, as needed.

  • Assist with benefit enrollment, changes and terminations.

  • Support various HR projects and initiatives, as well as coordinating HR and agency-wide staff events.

  • Comply with JEVS Human Services policies and procedure and adhere to the code of conduct.

    Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience in HR support role or similar position.

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)

  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UltiPro, ADP) is a plus.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Detail oriented and highly organized.

The base pay for this position ranges from $42,000 to $52,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
