ATI is seeking a talented Human Resources Professional to support various strategic and operational HR activities at our corporate office in Dallas, TX. The Opportunity:

The Human Resources Specialist will perform tasks supporting employee relations and HRIS employee data reporting. This position will work on both annual/standard process as well as ad-hoc requests and projects to provide a high level of customer service to the business.

A successful Human Resources Specialist will quickly grasp ATI’s HR processes and business culture, be attentive and detail-oriented, work collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders, and possess a continuous improvement mindset. This role will sit onsite at our Dallas office 4 days per week and will require periodic travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as HR liaison for the Dallas office to the HR Center of Excellence at ATI’s Enterprise Resource Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

  • Facilitate new hire orientation for employees in our Dallas, TX office to introduce them to the company culture, policies, and procedures.

  • Serve as a point of contact for Dallas office employees seeking clarification on company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain the data integrity of the HRIS System by running queries to analyze data and ensure ongoing system continuity. Assist in the coordination of ongoing HRIS System upgrades and audits.

  • Provide support and maintenance of ADP EV6, including but not limited to, entry and maintenance of our employee data.

  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing system reporting tools, supporting HR functional areas as well as ad-hoc reporting and presentations.

  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train internal stakeholders at various levels, as well as new system users, on new processes/functionality.

  • Serve as a technical point-of-contact for information systems supporting HR planning and operations.

  • Recommend change management to ensure understanding and acceptance of new processes and conduct post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.

  • Partner with Digital Technology in the maintenance of HR system tables, HR libraries and the ongoing creation of new job codes and other data infrastructure to support the business.

  • Assist with the set-up of robotic process automation and ensure that processes are documented, cross-trained and maintained.

  • Partner with HR, Digital Technology, Payroll and/or other teams on projects and programs, with a particular focus on process improvement, designing future processes and solutions, to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Maintain current knowledge of HR operations and activities, bargaining agreements and contracts, employment related laws and regulations and Business Unit personnel and payroll policies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

  • Demonstrated operational knowledge and utilization of ADP or equivalent HRIS systems

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working in a professional HR role including:

  • Experience in HRIS systems and exposure to broad HR functions such as talent acquisition, payroll, reporting, compensation, benefits, or talent management

  • HR project management experience including data management analysis and presentation

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications)

  • HRIS implementation and / or upgrade experience

  • SHRM or HRCI Certification

  • Master’s Degree

Additional Skills

  • Advanced skill level of MS Excel, with proficiency the MS Office suite of products.

  • Strong verbal, written & presentation skills, ability to communicate clearly with both internal & external customers.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information, excellent personal relationship skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and projects to complete a wide variety of tasks. Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong ability to take initiative. Ability to adapt an approach as the requirements of a situation change, to change or easily accept changes in one’s own organization or job requirement.
