Sartorius Inhouse Service Sales in United States

The Inside Service Sales position will be responsible for all sales results of small to mid-size accounts in a defined territory and for developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for the assigned customer base.

The Inside Service Sales position will be responsible for all sales results of small to mid-size accounts in a defined territory and for developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for the assigned customer base.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Promote the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range to achieve sales and revenue targets

  • Maintain renewal business (maintenance contracts) and i dentify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy

  • Actively drive newly launched services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity

  • Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer inquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate

  • Support Field Service Sales to d evelop and implement account plans and support review and quoting of maintenance contracts and associated legal terms and conditions

  • Work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account

  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory as requested

  • Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business

  • Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership

  • Utilize and learn provided Sales tools (such as CRM and Quotation) to ensure efficiency and highest sales potentials, including use of email, MSTeams, phonecalls from Inhouse location

Qualification & Skills:

  • Academic degree in business administration, Sales or relevant field

  • Minimum 3 years field sales experience, with preferable laboratory / process based experience in Life Science

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility

  • Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams

  • Willingness and ability to travel for occasional trainings or BPS Service or Sales related events; position is not a Field Sales position, therefore, travel to customers is not required, but optional.

  • Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
