The Installation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful planning, initial installation and commissioning of energy and IoT solutions. The Installation Manager will support new projects during the sales process by assisting in developing solutions, budgets, preliminary and final designs for metering and other IoT solutions.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record working with industrial controls and systems, managing projects, estimating projects and creating budgets and tracking project costs.

About the role

  • Develop strategies to extract data from industrial sites, and systems in a format consistent with the requirements of our Contxt Platform

  • Work with our backend integration team to develop and document best practices to standardize approaches related to data integration and facility control

  • Develop & implement strategies for the automation of demand response at industrial facilities

  • Work with contractors, vendors, and technology providers to scope and estimate project costs

  • Meet program goals and deliverables, including tracking and documentation

  • Potential to lead and grow a national team of integrators and industrial controls specialists

  • Interpreting engineering drawings such as P&ID, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing & Floorplans

  • Create and review solution concept schematics and content for proposals and presentations

  • Develop installation, testing and commissioning plans for Ndustrial solutions and offerings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of construction project management and/or utility installation project management

  • Experience in industrial controls, SCADA systems, and process management.

  • Experience developing labor and material cost estimates

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues

  • Construction/installation management experience

  • Experience working in industrial facilities

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
