Job Description

The Division of International Business and Technology Studies in the A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) seeks a full-time Instructional Assistant Professor of Management starting Fall 2024. TAMIU is a growing university with more than 8,000 students situated within the vibrant bilingual and culturally rich city of Laredo, Texas. For more information, visit www.tamiu.edu. This is a non-tenure-track position with a 5-5 teaching load. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate and maintain a commitment to teaching and participating in service activities appropriate at an AACSB accredited business school. Successful candidate is expected to be versatile with the ability and willingness to teach various Management courses at the undergraduate level and courses, both face-to-face and online.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must hold a doctorate in Management or International Business (with a focus on Management issues) or a related field with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate coursework in Management. ABDs will also be considered, but they must have earned a doctorate before appointment.

We offer competitive salaries and a benefits package, including health insurance, retirement benefits, and life insurance. Additional pay is available for summer teaching. Financial support for professional development opportunities, such as attending academic conferences, is also provided. Moving expenses are covered in whole or in part by the university.
