About the Role

We are looking to hire a skilled Integrations Engineer to design and implement solutions for our clients. You will be traveling to clients' locations, analyzing system requirements, developing solutions, creating design documents and assisting with solution proposals. You will be writing and installing custom programmable logic code, testing system efficiency, and providing operational support.

To ensure success as an Integrations Engineer, you should have excellent knowledge of industrial processes, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A skilled Integrations Engineer should be able to easily identify and design a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose. Our ideal candidate has considerable professional experience in a relevant role, in addition to experience with project management and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with clients to scope projects

  • Drawing schematics and creating documentation

  • Creating proposals to demonstrate how solutions will be implemented and evaluate cost

  • Developing testing and commissioning plans for implemented solutions

  • Troubleshooting system errors

  • Overseeing the implementation of solutions

  • Providing clients with technical support

  • Support communications design

  • Support commissioning of systems

  • Data field provisioning

Requirements

  • At least 5 year's relevant experience

  • Expertise with industrial SCADA/DCS and Historian Systems in an industrial setting.

  • Strong networking skills for IT/OT networks

  • Strong background working with common security protocols

  • Experience with edge hardware like Opto22, RevPi, etc. is a plus

  • Electrical and mechanical engineering experience preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Knowledge of software design principles

  • Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD software

  • Proficiency with the Ignition Suite, particularly Ignition and Ignition Edge

  • Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages

  • Ability to travel when required, up to 50%

  • Strong mathematical aptitude

  • Experience with industrial refrigeration control systems (Ammonia, CO2, Freon)
