Naviga Inc. Lead Engineer (QA) in United States
Objective:
· Test website applications to ensure they meet quality standards for clients.
· Identify defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them.
· Create test cases based on user stories and requirements.
· Collaborate with other teams to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on time.
· Perform regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
· 5+ years of relevant project experience in Manual testing is required.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain testing infrastructure in the team for efficient testing.
· Write detailed test reports and performance analyses for the product.
· Participate in the complete software development life cycle for new products.
· Communicate with operations team to gather and understand the requirements.
Required skills and qualifications
· Experience with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA.
· Expertise in any test management tools, Testrail would be preferred.
· A basic understanding of web technologies such as .NET(optional), HTML.
· Good understanding of SQL and API Testing using postman.
· Attention to detail, ability to follow test plans and scripts, and good management skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred skills
· Should have some exposure of Agile methodologies.
· Any QA certifications like ISTQB is a plus.
· Basic idea on Salesforce.
· Should have some working knowledge on automation testing.
· Knowledge of E-commerce domain is preferred.
