Summary of the Job:

Accountable for managing the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of the organization’s enterprise corporate security systems (CSS) and Physical security systems (PSS) projects. Oversees the physical security systems contracted work serving select employees, vendors, tenants, and visitors for FNBO and Lauritzen companies. This role has administration privileges to Corporate Security’s protective monitoring systems that encompass the critical infrastructure enterprise to provide a strategic physical security strategic approach to managed assets.

About This Role:

  • Manage CSS-PSS installations, maintenance, and commissioning projects/tasks to ensure on-time, on-budget completion. Responsible for evaluating and architecting all work related to CSS-PSS to include process mapping, planning, and documentation.

  • Responsible for learning & providing development, design, and maintenance of low voltage structures in use by CSS-PSS.

  • Provide cross-training to team members in Corporate Security and FNIT resources to allow for additional resources and succession opportunities.

  • Work collaboratively with co-workers as well as groups such as FNN, FNTS, FNIT, FNBI, Corporate Investigations, Billing Resolution, Retail Management, and Branch staff to assist in performing tasks/projects related to physical security system requirements to reconcile CSS-PSS system events.

  • Manage operations and standards of contracted service teams to ensure efficiency and satisfaction. Manage service-related issues and processes to ensure efficiency; Improve/maintain processes within the Services process.

  • Streamline or develop new internal procedures and policies; Communicate between service teams and management teams to ensure proper service delivery; Prepare status and management reports for leadership

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Key Skills:

  • Safety and Security: Must have knowledge of internal and external rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to organizational security, safety, continuity, and disaster/special response plans.

  • Expertise: Expert level of understanding of all CSS-PSS systems, functions, and associated products. Responsible for learning system updates & to provide design, development, and implementation of the CSS-PAS systems. Develop and maintain strong general knowledge of all Enterprise Physical Security Systems such as access, alarm, biometric, communication, and visitor management applications.

  • Office Tools: Proficient in PC operation and demonstrated understanding of applicable software including Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook.

  • Customer Service: Must have knowledge of providing and demonstrate excellent customer service.

  • Behavior: Ability to exhibit professional behavior and always promote positive working relationships. Ability to coach and mentor internal/external professionals on implementation, configuration, and operational aspects of the PSS-CSS systems.

  • Coordination & Documentation: Understand and adhere to all bank policy, laws, and regulations applicable to role and PSS-CSS systems. Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in the FNN Compliance Accountability Program. Maintain complete and accurate file and incident documentation.

  • Actions: Independently make decisions in a fast-paced environment and understand when to make key notifications. Selects a course of action from different alternatives to reduce risk and uncertainty and to create optimal outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate Degree or 5+ years' relevant experience required in managing low voltage duties and administering PSS-CSS systems such as access control, video management, biometric, analytic, and communication.

  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in monitoring contracted work operation to ensure quality.

  • Ability to lead projects, processes, meetings, employee development.

  • Manage competing demands in a changing environment while working independently most of the time.

  • Follow instructions, respond to management direction, and solicit feedback to improve performance.

  • Demonstrate effective management/team-building skills and strong customer service skills.

  • Enhanced problem solving/conflict management experience to multitask and manage several different issues simultaneously.

  • Strong Planning/Organizing capabilities.

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or equivalent physical security operations experience.

  • ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification

  • Project Management Certification such as PMP, Scrum-Master, or equivalent.
