Mailroom Coordinator
Introduction
At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization (CRO) company specializing in delivering life- changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Mailroom Coordinator to join our team in the Durham, North Carolina HQ office. As a Mailroom Coordinator, you’ll be joining a fast-paced, driven environment that’s helping to make life-changing difference to patients by receiving, recording, and distributing incoming and outgoing courier parcels. Through the collaboration, and diversity, of teams the Mailroom Coordinator is provided with multiple opportunities to excel and discover where your skills can take you.
Who we’re looking for:
Self-starter that takes pride in customer satisfaction.
Reliable team player that strives to deliver first time quality in their work.
Adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping & receiving, freight assistant or dispatcher type role required. International shipping & receiving experience preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
What you’ll do:
Processing of mail orders and preparation of dispatch documents.
Organize & prepare required customs clearance documents in accordance with legislation.
Verify shipment charges and reconcile invoices.
Coordinate and track shipments to notify recipients.
Liaison with courier services.
Distribute incoming mail and faxes.
Maintain supply and order inventory for general facility items.
Maintain breakroom area throughout the day and order/restock items as needed.
Assist with conference room set up and break down when required.
Additional details:
This is an onsite role based in Parexel’s HQ office, currently located in Durham, NC. The office location will move to North Hills Innovation District in Raleigh, NC by the end of 2025.
General working hours are 7:30am-4:00pm.
