Liberty Latin America Marketing Manager in United States

What’s The Role

The Marketing Manager of the North Cluster is responsible for developing and overseeing a clearly defined integrated marketing strategy in a manner that supports consistent business growth, builds brand equity, differentiation and awareness and is in congruence with the Regional Brand, Marketing and Communications Strategy. The Marketing Manager will drive the Company’s efforts to position itself as a market leader, achieve its revenue growth and build a high-performance team. The Marketing Manager will take business strategy and translate it into customer communications across all touchpoints.

What You´ll Do

  • Marketing Strategy

  • Work with the team to deploy successful integrated marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.

  • Develop strategies, tactics and local initiatives to ensure promotions are delivered as effectively as possible on the ground.

  • Work closely with Commercial Lead for the North Cluster to align on key p riorities, business objectives and then translates those to Marketing and Communications campaigns.

  • Work with assigned agencies and the Creative Hub, develop creative briefs and guide the creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public facing communications.

  • Work alongside the Digital Team to build a cohesive digital plan to both build the brand and generate sales across all of our digital touchpoints.

  • Ensure strategic development of advertising in support of the annual marketing plan including agreed media contracts for digital, press, radio, TV and outdoor.

  • Liaise with the Sales and Service Managers and the Product Delivery teams to ensure an efficient and effective customer delivery of regional and local launches.

  • Ensure a consistent customer experience for all promotions and offerings in the market which is aligned to the brand values and tone.

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to ensure that all campaigns and events are effectively translated in each market.

  • Market Research:

  • Monitor competitor activity, providing feedback and pro-active suggestions to in-country Sales and Service teams as well as Regional Commercial team.

  • Budget Management:

  • Prepare and implement the local marketing budget along wide the local Marketing executives in each market.

  • Work along with the Marketing Operations Manager in ensuring policies of the department are adhered to, assigning of marketing spend by campaign, monthly financial activity and monitoring of budgeted spend.

  • Employee Management:

  • Supervise Marketing team in the following markets: Anguilla, Antigua, BVI, TCI, St. Kitts & Nevis, Montserrat.

  • Assign duties and set targets for staff.

  • Mentor and perform regular evaluations of performance.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 5-7 years of related marketing experience or retail experiences.

  • Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or other related field required; an advanced degree will be an asset.

  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor applied to a wide variety of business and marketing problems.

  • You understand how marketing works and what is relevant to measure for online and offline channels.

  • You are a relationship builder who earns the trust and rapport of partners at multiple levels.

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in managing people through influence.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent interpersonal skills -written and verbal.
