JEVS Human Services Nurse Instructor (RN) - Part Time in United States

P/T Adjunct Clinical Instructor for Practical Nursing Program. The role includes overseeing PN students during clinical rotations and/or leading practical skills lab assignments on campus.

Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • Engage students with active learning in the lab or clinical setting.

  • Assist and supervise students with patient assessment, administration of medications and patient care procedures.

  • Provide clinical instruction at long term care, sub-acute and acute clinical sites.

  • Create a clinical environment which encourages the student’s academic growth and professional development.

  • Engage in the evaluation processes of the Practical Nursing Program to evaluate students.

  • Submit final grades and other program related materials in a timely manner.

  • Engage on ongoing continuing education related to teaching responsibilities and clinical nursing practice.

  • Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.

  • Current registration as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nursing.

  • Prior experience teaching in a Practical Nursing Program preferred.

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in nursing practice.

The base pay for this position is $45/hour. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
