Job Location: Remote The ONE Brand Manager within the Protein team is a key leadership position for Hershey’s Protein portfolio. This Brand Manager is responsible for ONE Brands, a widely known and established protein snack brand with aspirations to accelerate growth and become a top Protein brand in the next 5 years. This Brand Manager reports to the Director of Protein and manages 1 direct report. The ONE Brand Manager is responsible for holistic management of the ONE Brand and its role within the broader Protein strategy. This includes informing and shaping Protein strategy, and then developing the ONE Brand specific strategy and activation plans. This role requires strategic thinking, mature marketing and general management skills, and strong cross-functional leadership which mobilizes internal and external partners to deliver against sales, profit, and share results. This person will formulate the strategic direction for the business and drive all major marketing decisions including media, advertising, innovation, and programming that supports short and long-term goals. The ONE Brand Manager must stay current with general trends across the marketing & the Protein category, competitive activity, and an understanding of both consumers and customers. In addition to driving Marketing activity, the ONE Brand Manager must be an impactful and dynamic leader of people. As a manager, they will need to coach and develop their direct report. Also, they will play a leadership role throughout the organization with other functions to drive broader Hershey activity in support of their brand. Particularly important is their partnership with the Protein Sales Leadership and organization, and their ability to coordinate with that team to drive Marketing-to-Sales strategy, along with sell-in of key initiatives directly to customers. The ONE Brand Manager is accountable for the sales growth, financial and brand health, and long-term development of the ONE Brand and the broader Protein portfolio at Hershey. The ONE Brand Manager must be very effective at: • Developing and presenting recommendations to senior management • Engaging direct reports to execute marketing plans • Strategic, annual, and marketing planning and periodic re-planning on the business • Leadership of activities inside and outside the company that will result in successful implementation of marketing plans • Performance management activities including personal training and development • External and internal assessments of the business environment, competitors, customers and market trends, and implications to their business • Presentations made to customers • Creative development, media investment strategy, and execution working with internal and external agency partners to deliver communication strategy * Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities: * • Superior strategic thinking and planning • Overall business knowledge and holistic general management approach • Demonstrated leadership ability • Outstanding analytical abilities • Demonstrated ability to be accountable for sales and income results • Strong verbal and written communicator to wide breadth of audiences including senior management • Economic value creation mindset • Lifelong learner and strong people developer * Requirements * • MBA degree or relevant Master's degree required / significant CPG experience in lieu of Master’s degree • Experience: Progression of successful accomplishments at levels of marketing management that lead to Brand Manager to include typically at least 3 years as an Associate Brand Manager. The experience should be consistent with the particular role for the Brand Manager.
