STELLAR SERVICES OpenText Content Server Developer in United States
Responsibilities
Build and modify OpenText Content Server workflows, forms, reports, and custom taxonomy/metadata according to specifications and expand upon existing applications to meet ongoing needs
Responsible for day-to-day support and maintenance of applications as assigned and interfaces partnering with vendors to ensure quality services
Troubleshoot and resolve system related production issues, identify root causes, work with vendors on bugs/fixes and implement quality solutions
Perform regular administration of the application environment
Create change requests and apply approved change requests to system functionality and configuration
Modify, enhance and or create solutions to meet business requirement
Review, plan, test, and implement system upgrades and enhancement
Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information
Required Skills/Experience
Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science or related field
content management system analysis and/or development experience working on Enterprise content management or records management systems such as OpenText
Hands-on experience in design, development, and support of Enterprise content management systems
Administration of all supporting services according to policies and procedures: Databases, Storage Devices, Load balancers, Application databases, Windows Domains/Active Directories, Backups, etc
Strong development experience on the OpenText Content Server platform (using Content Server Web Services, REST APIs) preferably with 16/20.x versions Java or .NET development experience with good knowledge of Object-oriented programming concepts
Hands on development experience with C#, XML/XSL, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, C++, etc
Experience working with Workflows, CS Widgets, Workspaces, Connected Workspaces, Content Capture, Templates in Livelink/Content Server Data migration exposure from other ECM systems to OpenText using migration tools (OpenText Object Importer etc.)
