Small Business Administration Operations Liaison in United States

Summary This position is with the Small Business Administration, Office of Field Operations - HQ in the OFO Region 9 or Region 10 district/branch offices. The incumbent leads communication between program offices and the field organization to support continuous information sharing and feedback, loops supporting policy and program implementation strategies. Responsibilities Duty Locations: The salary range indicated in this announcement reflects the minimum base pay up to maximum base pay for all duty locations listed. The range will be adjusted for selected duty location. General Schedule locality pay tables may be found under OPM Salary & Wages Lead communication between the program offices and field organization to support continuous information sharing and feedback, loops supporting policy and program implementation strategies. Corresponds in person and over the phone with senior leaders in OFO, private and public sector to communicate policy change and maintain working relationships. In collaboration with OFO leadership, defines short and long-term metrics (outcomes and outputs) to measure program/policy impact. Serves as technical representative for compliance oversight of SBA district office Resources Partners. Develop plans, operating procedures and standard to effectively strengthen and improve agency's field operations. Advises OFO staff of new/revised management and administrative practices and provides consultation and advice to staff and operating managers on a wide array of internal administrative matters. Draft policy to support the delivery of programs in the field. This is a non-bargaining unit position. This is not a (drug) testing designated position (TDP). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-13 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Leading communications between program offices and field organizations and initiatives that reach a wide variety of audiences; AND Managing assigned resource partner relationship and act as a liaison between program offices; AND Serving as a field technical representative responsible for compliance oversight of SBA district office Resources Partners.
