The Department of Biological Sciences in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, seeks applications for part-time, teaching-track instructor positions for the 2024-2025 academic year. We seek instructors who have experience in teaching undergraduate laboratories in one or more of the following subject areas: General Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Neurobiology and Physiology.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field, e.g. Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Neurobiology or Physiology with demonstrated teaching experience in one of these areas. Please submit a cover letter, CV, verified teaching evaluation scores for at least two years and the names of three referees who may be contacted by USC for letters of reference that speak to your teaching abilities. The per course rate for this position is $11,000 and the lab rate for this position is $4,500.
