JEVS Human Services Placement Counselor Supervisor in United States

Work Ready provides a comprehensive set of employment-oriented services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, including those who are in need of specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency.

This role, located at 123 S Broad Street, offers flexibility and a hybrid environment, including 2 days each week on-site and 3 days remote. This position is full time, 35 hours per week.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Oversee all job development activities. Oversee customized job development and job matching.

  • Ensure diligent tracking and documentation of employment information from all staff.

  • Coordinate services regarding clients’ job placement goals and appropriate job search activities.

  • Oversee and facilitate relationship building with areas employers.

  • Collaborate with organizations providing job placement services.

  • Market program services and participants to employers via phone, video conference, and personal contacts.

  • Actively engage TANF clients in the direction of employment.

    QUALIFICATIONs & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree preferred; Appropriate experience or special training may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree

· 3 years’ experience in sales, workforce development, placement and/or job development.

· 3 years supervisory experience preferred

· Car preferred. Inner city travel required.

· Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays

The base pay for this position ranges from $51,000 to $60,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
