Every year we team up with thousands of blood donors and hundreds of community partners to help save lives through blood drives.
ImpactLife is looking for a Bench Tech to join our laboratory team. As a Processing Lab technologist with ImpactLife you will to work to ensure the delivery of quality blood products to the communities we serve b y performing product quality control as required to meet licensing and accrediting requirements.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 12:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. with every other Sunday, plus on-call & holiday rotation. Due to the nature of our lifesaving industry, this position may require the ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
What you need to bring to the table:
Attention to detail, great communication skills, and a team player
6 months training or experience in a medical laboratory or testing environment preferred
Must meet CLIA educational requirements for testing personnel in a high complexity laboratory:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science; or,
Bachelor’s degree in medical technology; or,
Associate’s degree in medical laboratory technology
MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent preferred
Equivalent combination of demonstrated work experience and education may be considered
