THE ROLE : The Product Manager will drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, and product launch. In this role, the incumbent will also collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development and release of products to ensure success for the organization. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Oversee products during full lifecycle to achieve profitable growth for Xylem through P&L accountability

• Define commercial strategies in partnership with Xylem Strategy and Marketing teams to identify growth opportunities and solution positioning for various channels or markets based on portfolio performance

• Analyze financial performance of portfolio and develop action plans to address performance gaps with commercial cross-functional teams

• Research competitors to maintain awareness of existing and new opportunities and threats in current or adjacent applications or markets

• Proactively interact with customers by planning and gathering VOC and future product needs to ensure product differentiation and commercial success for Xylem

• Attend industry events or tradeshows as needed to represent Xylem and corresponding products

• Support Sales through creation of tools or technical product content as needed for customer opportunities or nurturing

• Create and/or conduct training for internal teams on products or solutions as the subject matter expert within the organization

• Manage business requirements and act as Product Strategy SME for matrix partners inside and outside of the organization

• Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organization need

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelors + 6-8 Yrs relevant experience; product management experience strongly preferred

• BS/BA in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• MBA or additional business class credits beneficial

Salary range:

$70,500.00 - $126,500.00
