Product Manager- Saas

Position Description: We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the direction of our SaaS platform for corporate and product-based environmental accounting and sustainability strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong product management experience in an agile software development environment, along with technical expertise in software development and a background in sustainability and greenhouse gas (GHG) management. This role will be central in defining product strategy, collaborating across teams, collecting and incorporating customer feedback, and aligning our product roadmap with industry standards in sustainability.

What You'll Do:

  1. Define product strategy and roadmap for SaaS offerings, emphasizing sustainability features and GHG reporting capabilities.

  2. Collaborate with engineering teams within an agile framework to ensure technical feasibility and align product goals with sustainability objectives.

  3. Drive Customer discovery, gather feedback, and prioritize feature development to meet market demands for sustainability software.

  4. Describe and document functional requirements and user stories related to new features for development

  5. Monitor and report on KPI's to measure the product's adoption, market penetration and successful implementation for customers.

What You'll Bring:

  1. Proven experience as a Product Manager in SaaS, with a strong background in agile development environments.

  2. Experience in sustainability, GHG accounting, life cycle assessment or related fields.

  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  4. The ability to communicate complex concepts in simpler terms.

  5. Team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or demonstrated equivalent experience.

Additional preferred qualifications:

  1. Technical background in software development, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.

  2. Hands on experience with carbon accounting tools, lifecycle assessments, or sustainability reporting standards.
