Aggreko Product Specialist - Development Opportunity in United States

We’re looking for a Product Specialist to join our European Product Management Team. This role can be based from any of the following locations: Dumbarton, Swindon, Sutton (London), Doncaster or Widnes. In this role, you will work closely with our sales and operations teams to make sure we meet our budget and growth targets. You’ll help create strategic plans, actively seek new business opportunities, and provide expert support for commercial deals.     What you’ll do:

  • Increase Revenue: Boost revenue for the nominated product line by enhancing utilisation and capital productivity in line with budget targets. Ensure new products meet expected revenue and growth projections.

  • Support/Drive Sales & Growth Initiatives: Facilitate growth in new markets and increase market share in mature markets. Implement best practices for growth and build team confidence. Actively engage in the sales opportunity pipeline and contribute expertise to significant or strategic commercial opportunities.

  • Develop and Educate on Product Applications: Validate, educate, and explain how our products drive maximum revenue and business in specific applications. Identify and avoid low-return areas. Collaborate with internal teams to support application development and execution, including customer-facing development of ideas.

  • Increase Customer Satisfaction: Review customer feedback, operational challenges, and product reliability to ensure product and solution longevity.

  • Solve Business Challenges: Identify and eliminate barriers to product revenue, addressing both operational and sales readiness. Ensure product compliance and collaborate with internal teams to drive product revenue and influence new product development and business change processes. Engage in QHSE activities to identify gaps or regulations that may impact business operations.

    You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • You should have experience or knowledge in the power generation, HVAC, or renewables sectors and be able to show a genuine interest in pursuing a career in product management.

  • A technical background, whether gained as a technician or in another technical field, will be beneficial and help you succeed in this role.
