As a Project Manager you will support product builds and installations for customers within the automotive manufacturing industry. Remote friendly role - Candidates should reside or be willing to relocate to the Detroit area The Opportunity ... You will report to the business segment manager. As a project manager you will: support projects aligned to the Automotive manufacturing industry Determine Contract terms & conditions and milestones Maintain Project Schedules Technical writing – develop Functional Specifications Design and Technical reviews – conduct with internal and customer teams Production/Purchasing – coordination with managers for schedule commitments Risk management Financial Responsibilities Budget – maintaining and improving project margins Forecasting – all project expenditures Why work at JBT ... Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management required BS degree required (Engineering Discipline) Ability to travel up to 25% required Project management experience or certification working with external customers Maintain financial budgets and forecasts Manage Contractors - electrical and mechanical during product installations You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
