Aggreko QHSE Specialist – North East Asia in United States

Purpose of the Job

Ensure effective implementation of QHSE policies and procedures and assist in a sustainable culture of QHSE at depots and site locations across the then North-East Asia business (Japan / South Korea / Taiwan). What you’ll do

  • Assist in the implementation of policies, processes that promote continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment

  • Assist in the completion of project tenders relating to QHSE

  • Providing advice and assistance to functional managers, supervisors and staff

  • Assists in ensuring compliance to local legislative requirements across the Aggreko North-East Asia region including Japan, South Korea and Taiwan

  • Assist in producing learning/safety alerts in line with reports received within the global risk and accident database

  • Assist in the QHSE internal and external audit programme

  • Maintains Aggreko QHSE documentation and support translation

  • Ensure adherence to Aggreko’s policies, procedures and standards in sites and depots.

  • Assist and deliver QHSE training to staff.

  • Assist QHSE induction to new starters and existing employees

  • Conduct Risk assessments

  • Assist in accident/incident investigations

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • High level written and verbal communication (English and Japanese)

  • University Degree Qualifications in related discipline preferred

  • Possess certified course in Health, Safety or Environmental

  • Auditing experience preferably with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001

  • Computer literate, experience with MS office packages

  • Effective administrator, well organized and methodical

  • Able to travel with in the North East Asia Region
